Over the past decade, Philips Emergin has worked closely with third party vendors to integrate, test, verify and validate their product lines to ensure full compliance.

Philips Emergin develops and validates best-in-class systems using off-the-shelf technologies along with communications standards such as HL7 and SOAP/XML. This capability facilitates organizations to work with Philips Emergin to develop new or validate existing integrations to insure the integrated service components are based on the enterprise’s specific business needs and desired outcomes within their environment.

Interoperability Lab

Philips Emergin has built an interoperability lab unlike any other. The interoperability lab focuses on human factors engineering, clinical workflow, integration, testing, verification and validation of third party vendors. Philips Emergin has experience in life-critical, mission-critical and non-mission critical integration and has passed ISO certification, received 510(k) FDA clearance as a class II medical device, and received FDA compliance requirements with third party vendors.

The interoperability and validation lab includes third party vendors such as Alcatel, Amcom, AT&T, Carefusion, Cisco Systems, Draeger Medical, GE Security (Dukane), GE Healthcare, Hill-Rom, Jeron, NEC, Philips Medical, Rauland-Borg, Spacelabs Medical, SpectraLink, Tyco Executone, Voalte, Vocera, Waveware, West-Com, Zetron and Zettler.
